Kamini is a pioneer in storytelling especially for adult audiences in Singapore. As part of MoonShadow Stories, she revived storytelling for adults because she believes that if the beauty and wonder of storytelling is re introduced to adults, only then the children will benefit. Kamini is also a founder member of the Storytelling Association (Singapore) and has been its President for the past two years.

Her passion lies in reviving and promoting the oral narrative tradition and she has regular performances for both adults and children. She conducts private workshops for individual clients, school workshops for teachers and students, organizes storytelling events and is active in the local storytelling scene in Singapore.

She has been a consultant for the Singapore International Storytelling Festival, organized numerous storytelling events under the banner of the SISF as part of her role in the Storytelling Association (Singapore). She has performed at The Arts House, The Substation, for corporate clients, schools, museums, parks, institutes and organizations.She has told stories live on radio for a year, had regular monthly storytelling sessions for children and parents.

As part of MoonShadow Stories she provides opportunities for upcoming storytellers and nurtures and mentors them through special workshops and performances.
