Animal puppets to help tell the African stories

I trained as a storyteller in 1994, but I'd been telling stories for a long time before that. Since then, I've told stories to adults, to children, in my English as a Second Language classes, in rest homes, libraries, schools, festivals, birthday parites, anywhere where I'm invited.

Enjoy my stories from Africa, where wisdom is wrapped up in delightful animal stories. I like to bring these to life through the use of my puppets.
Come with me to colourful Asia, the mysterious Middle East, the ancient places in Europe. Be moved by love stories from Scotland, Tonga and Japan. And tremble at the fearsome struggle between good and evil in the stories from Ireland and Russia.

I am an active member of the NZ Guild of Storytellers, and have a web page with the Guild.

The Auckland Storytellers meet at my place every last Thursday of the month.
