I've been telling stories for many years, at first to holiday clubs for small children, later at schools, senior citizens centres, libraries and festivals, or in performing arts halls. Sometimes I told them as part of my jobs as English teacher and teacher librarian, sometimes and more recently as external contractor, or invited guest and performer.
